A lot of people will say they're against capitalism and then you find that they're not and just want reform. To have a nicer capitalism. They will use terms like socialism or democratic socialism and then the aim is welfare capitalism and imitation of northern Europe.

I remember saying years ago that governments around the world are becoming more authoritarian. As an anarchist it was so clear to me and yet it's true. More authoritarian stuff is being accepted and genocide denial allows them to do this even further. Wars can do it too.

If you make vegan food with whole foods then people will say "it's boring food?" So then make food with meat substitutes and they complain it isn't real meat. Unless you don't tell them it's vegan. They act all weird if it doesn't contain dead animals in it.

There's a reason why you don't just solve issues by changing the government. Attempts at trying to end capitalism without ending state authority ended in dictatorships and consolidation of power by a minority. Even to the point where capitalism had to be justified for growth.

Authoritarianism is the only path states can take so they grow more oppressive by the day. They're trying to convince you that things are as good as ever. In liberal democracies, they convinced people that you can vote away the problems and things will be fine after that.
