An atmospheric moment as we assembled outside following the pancake supper with the palm crosses from last year. After a brief & beautiful liturgy, the palms were set alight & reduced to ashes for use at tomorrow’s Ash Wednesday services (12pm & 7pm). #simple #sacred #tradition
