Please note the #SoundBites organ recital planned for 16th October has been postponed to 6th November to allow repairs to the wind system of the organ. The recital on 16th will now be given by Eleftheria Kotzia - Guitar: "From South America to the shores of the Mediterranean"

There will be another event in our GreenWatch series on 9th November. Usual format: Coffee etc from 11.30, light lunches and talk at 13.00. This will be given by Marine Biologist Rowan Byrne as originally planned for our ECH day on Sept 21st. More details to follow.

Our annual 'Birthday Party' as a church occurs on All Saints Sunday - this year that's 3rd November. All welcome to a special, family oriented, communion service followed by a 'Bring and Share' Lunch and more. Full details to follow. For now - please put it in your diaries!

Tomorrow's (10.00 am) Parish Communion will be led by Rev Simon and is based around Mark 10.17-31 "The Rich Man". Music by Peeters, Vann, Ives and Buxtehude all accompanied on our newly repaired "Father" Willis organ. All welcome!

Today's 18.30 Choral evensong is based on Matthew 11.20-end - "Woes to unrepentant cities" and "Jesus thanks his Father". Music by Howells (Sarabande for RVW), S. Wesley, Parrett, Purcell (M&N in g), Tomkins (My shepherd is the living Lord) & Parry (Old 104th).

On Saturday 2nd November at 7.00 pm renowned classical guitarist Mark Jennings (buff.ly/4eWjwHq ) gives a recital 'The Spirit of Spain', an evening of virtuoso classics. Tickets £15 available at the door - under 14's free admission.

This Sunday's 10.00 am Family Eucharist is led by Rev Sion, based on Mark 10.35-35 - James and John ask for special seats. Music by Archer, Vaughan Williams, Mathias, Bruckner and Corl. All welcome!

This evening's 18.30 Choral Compline is based on Joshua 14. 6-14 'Hebron Allotted to Caleb' and psalm 141 'Lord, I call upon thee'. Music by Handel/Silcher, Stanford, Anerio, Antico and much plainsong - all by candlelight.
