third time packing up my books in less than two years. dreaming that the next time i pack them up it will be so they can be unpacked into their own library room for good.

my mum got me my first library card at our small country town library when I wasn't even a year old. seventeen years later, I would start my first job out of high school there & become the person who will find a way to talk about libraries in any conversation.

as a student at a regional university during the pandemic, so much of the research for my honours thesis would have been impossible without Trove. accessibility is so important for early career academics & postgraduate students.

Shout out to everyone else who doesn’t want to go big and wants to go home.
