I am so heartbroken. Not all of my Team’s Games will be broadcasted at the PARALYMPICS. Our friends & family (our country!) won’t be able to watch from back home 😡😭

The inequality between Olympics and Paralympics still exists. I bet no Olympian had to even worry about this leading into their games. The Olympics have full broadcasting, but Paralympics don’t. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IT TO SHOW THAT PEOPLE WANT TO WATCH 🙌🏼

A WestJet staff said I wasn’t disabled enough to use the priority line because I “don’t use a wheelchair.” (I have a prosthetic leg). Reminder: not all disabilities are visible, nor do all require a wheelchair. Doesn’t mean they’re not worth getting assistance.

It’s so dehumanizing how often I get shrugged off by airlines about my disability. If I’m not using/borrowing a wheelchair, then my disability doesn’t exist to them… Who is educating their staff about disability? They’re clearly not hiring disabled people to do it WestJet

I needed a night to cool off, but I will be filing a complaint with WestJet today about their discrimination towards my disability. Thank you for those that advised me to do so, sometimes I get tired of advocating for myself & putting up with these things in my daily life.

I didn’t watch the Victoria Secret fashion show last night. I did however see people posting about it this morning and I’m disappointed. There still isn’t body diversity AT ALL. The “plus size” models are more mid-sized and they were the only ones fully covered, not in 2 pieces.

Victoria Secret lacked representation. I not only struggled with my disabled-body acceptance when I was a teenager, but also with disordered eating because I was never thin enough. What are you thoughts on the VS show?

I’m just gonna go out and say it: Victoria Secret invited plus-size & disabled influencers to their show to cover up the fact that they didn’t have those bodies represented on the runway 🫢
