⚠️Pearl River at Jackson forecast to crest around 36ft Monday morning⚠️ Upstream river gauges at Lena continue to show a gradual drop in the river with Ratliff's Ferry nearing peak crest.

The Pearl River is expected to crest at Jackson at 36 feet Monday.

MEMA is working with Mississippi State Department of Health and locals to provide safe drinking water to the citizens of Jackson. Please DO NOT DRINK the water, and be safe!

The Mississippi State Department of Health Mobile Command Center is up and operating. It's been a very busy day in the water crisis response. We are strategizing water distribution center locations and fully assessing the OB Curtis Water Treatment Plant.

The state is working diligently to get the people of Jackson the water they need. Distribution sites will be announced within the hour!
