Help digitise the Cambridge University Herbarium 🌿
Curatrix, Cambridge University Herbarium (CGE) is home to over 1.1m plant specimens collected over 300+ years. The team is looking for online volunteers to transcribe specimen labels & make them accessible to biodiversity researchers.

We're going ✨all✨ the way back to 1790 for our pic this ! Published by J. Hooper, it's a lovely etching of our favourite landmark. We're not sure who he was or if he was from Abernethy so if you know we'd love to hear from you!

Edinburgh, can you help? Someone found a photo album in their attic in Loanhead. A couple of photos have the names Sandra & William Fyfe and there is an address for Craigentinny Road. Does anyone recognise them? Please share.

Anyone any good at deciphering WWI Prisoner of War / Red Cross index records?

(One of the brothers I am researching turns out to have been a Prisoner of War. Of course he was.)

Thanks to Sam Guthrie I've just found a 1953 'Britain from Above' image of the site where Kin Edar would have stood a few years before. Gives such a good indication of how the site was redeveloped.
