Just a reminder that the Nova Scotia NDP introduced the province’s first ever mental health strategy which disappeared under the Liberals.

The Nova Scotia NDP also hired more mental health clinicians for schools and expanded 24/7 access to mental health crisis intervention with the Mental Health Crisis Line.

I was one of those 200+ collective agreements ratified under Tim Houston that he claims have a better paycheque because of him. I’d happily discuss with him why this is not correct.

Shout out to all the candidates, staff, and volunteers who didn’t know that Houston would not keep his promise about a fixed election date but still managed to pull everything together and make their campaigns happen. The work is hard and the days are long, but you made it.

Leaving the Elections NS HQ and folks are still working hard to ensure that every vote is counted. It is actually wild how much goes on behind the scenes to ensure that people are able to vote.

I truly don’t have words to describe how proud I am of the @nsndp tonight. This election set up to put everyone at a disadvantage. In spite of this we found amazing candidates, staff, and volunteers and tonight Claudia Chender is the leader of the opposition. It is incredible 🧡
