Great success for our Cross Country Teams today at the Cumann na mBunscol Cross Country running competitions. Congratulations to Orla Doyle who came first in the girl’s race and to her five team mates who went on with Orla to claim second prize overall. Well done girls👏👏

Members of an Garda Síochána visited Ms McNamara’s 3rd Class and Ms Garry’s SI/1st Classes as part of our SESE Programme. We learned all about their Community Response Team and how Gardaí have to dress sometimes to keep themselves safe when doing their job.

Congratulations to our Allen U13 Girls Team who won their match at home today to Ballycane. It was a tremendous game of football played with such passion and love for the game, in very challenging conditions. The girls are through now to the County Final on Wednesday.

The excitement is mounting - the village has been transformed into a spectacular array of red and white bunting and flags to surprise the children in the morning. Many thanks to all the friends of Allen NS who came out this evening to help us- it was truly amazing . 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Great game of football this afternoon between our U13 Girls Team and Rathcoffey. Sadly we were beaten by 1 point 😢. We send our congratulations to Rathcoffey girls - Well done!! We were disappointed but the BOM organised a party in McDonalds to lift our spirits!!

We were back on Pitch 3 in Moorefield today more determined than ever to show what we have got. Fuelled by desire our U10 Boys played a strong Kilberry side in a nail biting game. All their training with coaches and volunteers paid off and they won the division final !!🏆⚽️🎉

Captains Lauren and Ava praised the Kilberry team who showed great sportsmanship, they thanked them for a very enjoyable game, thanked their fellow players, their parents and their coaches Ms McEvoy and Ms McNamara who brought the team to victory.

The celebrations got underway I first in McDonalds and then back in Allen and Kilmeague. Huge thanks to all who lined the route to help our U10Boys Team celebrate - what a great example of community spirit! Well done everyone
