A challenge around patch today in a biting Northerley wind proved relatively fruitless . Got home to find 4 Brent Geese in front of ours and a cracking male Black Redstart in the back. Crazy !! 😜 Sadly the BR too brief for the camera . Here's hoping it's relocated tomorrow.

Meols…….finally caught up with the Black Redstart in horse paddocks south of Meols Dunes. Probably same bird as seen by Allan Conlin at Hoylake RNLI over last couple of days. 7 Red-throated Diver, 1 female Eider off Hoylake at low tide. Patchwork Challenge
