4 years ago I won this printer for my reindeer napkin holder replacement. It has been sitting on the printer rack for a while now, unused due to the filament chip requirement. Today it lives again, Sindoh has allowed me to use the test firmware for open filament.

Into the 3rd 9 weeks and 12 more states are being researched for national and state parks. The students love the topographic map, and are amazed at how big Texas is compared to the others. Sadly we have run out of the proto pasta chaos red.

Working on a proposal for a 3D printing club next year. My students will get to have design contests, learn to slice and print their models, basically get a new model every 2 weeks or so, and build printers. If all works out that will be 16 prusa minis throughout the year…

Another successful micro lab. On Monday we made observations on tornadoes using 3D printed tornado tubes and houses.

Earlier today I printed a new South Dakota using Eryone Galaxy Red. All of the other red states so far have been printed in ProtoPasta Garret’s Chaos Red, which unfortunately I have run out of. It is a pretty close match, just a bit shinier.

When you’re not able to buy a certain vexiq piece that you need for a robot build, you ask your friendly neighborhood 3D print guy. Only took a few tests to get the hole size right. I think I did a good job.

Spending the day building with what I have in terms of bricks. Mostly following the plans of user Kitcat03 on Rebrickable

School starts back soon, I have been working on setting up two planted aquariums to help with this school year. More videos on my Instagram.

First feeding of the new bettas. Both ate well even having to fend off the shrimp trying to be to steal their food.

Tanks got some algae build up, but we have lowered the lights a bit and cleaned them since these photos. Also did a partial water change.
