Hi The RAC RAC Care. I've been waiting to be picked up from a motorway breakdown for 7 hours. Your operators don't seem to know what is going on. Or say trucks have been dispatched when they haven't. Is this normal? Is this my life now? Waiting for the truck that never comes?

Hello RAC Care. I see you’re now answering tweets, but not mine. It’s nearly 14 hours I’ve been waiting for a truck. Any clue as to what is going on? The operator I spoke to on the phone said he couldn’t speak to a manager because “if he disturbed them he’s lose his job”

Hello RAC Care It’s now 15 hours I’ve been waiting for a truck. You don’t even have the courtesy to reply on here? You do have consistency, I suppose, as that’s pretty much what I’ve been getting when I call your call centre.

No I’m not. It’s now been 15 hours since I broke down. Still no truck. I was just talked over by an operator who told me why I was “a priority” and a truck would be dispatched when it “became available”. Oh and RAC Care ignore every one of these messages. Mind blowing.

Thanks for the reply, Conor. A driver has arrived. 15 hours after I first broke down. Obviously I shall be cancelling my 20 year+ RAC membership as soon as I get home and giving The AA a ring.

I don't come on X much anymore for obvious reasons, but came back just to say that I think Gary by BLOSSOMS is a great record. It put me in a good mood having a listen to it just now.

It is a site run by a guy who is pretty much Dr Evil with a hair transplant.

While I am recommending things to listen to, my favourite song of the last decade may well be The Corner by @lewsberg. Imagine the Velvet Underground, but cool. Something like that.
