I totally get the decision to sack him, it's *probably* the right call. But I also think it was an easy decision to keep him, just to retain the good feeling at the club. Sacking him will mean the fans are ready to turn (further) on Levy if the new manager doesn't start well.

Great piece, sums up my feelings perfectly. This situation isn't like Ten Hag at Utd. Postecoglou has changed Tottenham and that winner mentality and winning feeling cannot be underestimated.
