Black women did this. Survivors did this. Their exhaustive and relentless work did this. They were ignored for years, gaslit and belittled by their peers and the system. They should not have to be this “strong, brave and resilient”. Survivors are magic, love them and honor them❤️

Praying for each and every one of Diddy’s victims and survivors. None of you deserved what he did. And none of you deserved to allow it to happen while others, namely straight men, sat and watched it happen.

This has happened, it’s been happening. Drew Dixon is a shining example. And there are so many Black women who have been sharing their stories and doing work to create safer and supportive spaces in the industry.

I highly recommend reading through the 14-page federal indictment against Diddy and then comparing it the accusations in Cassie’s lawsuit. She seemingly cracked this case wide open, and we collectively owe her a huge debt. I hope she is safe, well, and cared for immensely today.

I can promise you from personal experience that the most frequent targets of gender harassment in women's bathrooms in the era of bathroom bans will be cis women who do not look stereotypically feminine in some way.

I was kidnapped and raped in 2017 by a Lyft driver. I reported to NYPD Special Victims almost immediately. They failed me, horrifically. I filed a lawsuit against NYPD in January 2019. I was one of the survivors who worked exhaustively for U.S. Department of Justice investigation. We deserve better.
