The 2nd poster session at #SEED2024 is starting and we've got 3 posters from my group. Stacey has a combinatorial method to yeast protein secretion, Ally is engineering protein secretion from tumor-targeting bacteria, and Tom is using pooled-seq & ML to test burden in plasmids.

Another great poster session at #SEED2024 - proud of Ally, Stacey and Tom for chatting about their work for well over an hour to many interested people.

Good news if you can't attend #SEED2024 and want to see some of the latest #synbio work from us. The amazing project by @FankangMeng on yeast multicellularity tools - MARS, SATURN & JUPITER - is now up as a preprint on BioRixv 🪐biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

I had a great time presenting a poster at #SEED2024 this afternoon. Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat with me about Salmonella Synthetic Biology and Bacteria-based Therapeutics! A special thanks to Biochemical Society for the travel grant that supported this trip!

Celebrating Prof David Holden's "profound impact" on #microbiology at Imperial and beyond. 🎉 Imperial Department of Infectious Disease's Prof Ramesh Wigneshweraraj (Ramesh Wigneshweraraj) pays tribute to Prof Holden, who retired as Regius Professor of Infectious Disease this summer. blogs.imperial.ac.uk/imperial-medic…
