The pressure on school staff must be absolutely massive and a long night ahead for them when it could so have been avoided by preparing over the holidays for online learning.

Recently started supply in year 6. Is it ever ok to say, despite the children attending the school for possibly 8 years, their poor behaviour and lack of attainment is because of living in a deprived area and 'it'll never change here'?

Getting so nervous about starting my first teaching post at the end of Nov. Will I be good enough? Will I manage the workload? Will I see my own kids? Excited but worried!

ECT Day 1 of 100 Learned lots about the class. Building relationships. Taught and reflected. Some adjustments to make. Transitions need work. Overall, a great day.

ECT Day 2 Productive day. Getting to know the kids more. Had a lengthy chat with the head about tightening up on the behaviour. Mini meet with support staff.

I can't visit every school I want to apply to, because of distance/time constraints. How can i get across that i am serious about the school without visiting?
