Being in Old Trafford last night is an experience I’ll remember for the rest of my life. The scenes when Mainoo bent in the equaliser, but after Maguire’s winner the whole place just went into utter pandemonium. Felt like the roof had come off the place. Incredible! #MUFC

Counties in Ireland came up as a topic on Pointless yesterday and Roscommon was the only pointless county! The jokes write themselves.

I’m sure the Ryan kids had to deal with a lot but I’ll never get this hero worshiping of Gerry Ryan. At the end of the day he ODed on drugs. If he was a regular Joe Soap from the inner city, he’d have been treated very differently.

The form book and all common logic points firmly to a Galway win today which is why it seems perfectly poised for Mayo to spring a surprise. I keep thinking back to the Dublin game last year. We went to The Hyde without a hope and pulled out a huge performance. Same today please!

This Mayo management team needs to go at the end of the season. We simply need a new start. It has been the same old failings three years in a row. Watching them on the line doesn’t fill supporters with any confidence, so how could they motivate the players?!

Since Carragher said " leave the football before it leaves you" Casemiro has scored more goals than Carragher scored in his entire career.

The only one who should get a ban is the Donegal player who tries to goad the Armagh bench. It’s not what the GAA is about and triggers the whole thing. He got what was coming to him!

There’s nothing like the GAA to really get people going. I retweeted that video of the post match scenes in Clones last night and completely forgot about it. I’ve had some laugh trawling through the responses 😂 Calm down lads. It’s only sport!

Delighted for Louth. You can see what it means to players and supporters alike. Ger Brennan has done a serious job with them in all fairness to him.

If today doesn’t mark the end of this management team then Mayo football can forget about being serious contenders for a very long time to come. We’re a team with no confidence, no system and no clue what we’re trying to do. People are talking with their feet now too.

With all the changes Rochford is basically implying that what has gone before is all down to McStay. O’Hora just said the entire style of play under McStay has been down to Rochford though. It’s basically moving the deckchairs on the Titanic!

Fuck me this revolutionary tactic of kicking the ball inside to the biggest man on the field, every so often, is actually working. Wonders never cease!! #MayoGAA
