I’m really tired of people coming into our industry to tell us what we want. We keep telling y’all that AI isn’t a “useful tool” that we want. We keep saying that AI is destroying our industry. And YET people in tech keep telling us we are missing the point. No. You are.

Got to meet Joey Bizinger and Akidearest at the NØИSENSE pop up last Friday and tell them how much it meant to me that they enjoyed Bowser’s Challenge. It was cool to know two of my favorite creators enjoyed something I helped make :).

For real. What’s the point of adapting something if you’re going to pretend you don’t enjoy the source material? Would you buy a cake from a baker who looks you in the eye and says “Cakes are kinda lame and outdated actually…”

I've had a couple people asking me about studies and simplifying so here's how I usually think about it. Composition comes first as it sets up direction/energy/flow. Then I build a solid structure of varied volumes. Then think how to support it through detail
