Richard I published a comprehensive plan for the future of the SNHS on behalf of Reform, now called Enlighten, last year. I sent it to the Scottish government and offered to discuss in detail. No substantive response since then. I doubt they have even read it. Mega disappointing

I agree reforms need to be made but not ones that the U.K. Government’s own impact assessment says will drive another 250,000 people, including 50,000 children, into poverty. That is totally unacceptable

Many thanks Richard. Why don’t we ask for a formal meeting with the First Minister, who seems to be taking day-to-day charge of the NHS, to discuss our ideas to him face to face? I doubt the civil service have drawn any of our work to his attention
