Once again loved the latest episode of Pachinko. Highlights: Youn Yuh-jung and Jun Kunimura’s lovely scene, insight into Mr Kim’s (Kim Sungkyu) background, return of Anna Sawai and Jimmi Simpson. Calming moments of intimate insight against the burgeoning tensions of conflict.

It’s wild how big a leap Pachinko’s second season has taken, and I thought the first season was already really strong.

The cinematography in chapter 11 was stunning. Let's talk about the colours. Or the lack of them. We're immediately immersed in an apocalyptic, chaotic, stressful, dark mood that perfectly reflects the situation we're in. I instantly got goosebumps. #Pachinko #LeeMinho

I love this scene. Because Sunja and her family are equal to the others who are fleeing, and yet they are now spectators, on the other side. Priviliged. Protected. Taken care of. Because of Hansu. #Pachinko #LeeMinHo

After all the noise and panic in the previous scene, we switch to pure calmness and tranquility. With a Sunja that is able to sleep because she knows she's safe now. Meanwhile we see Hansu watching over her 🥹. #Pachinko #LeeMinHo
