Congratulations to Olivia Polk on this article which applies what she calls M Archive’s “Black Lesbian Eco-Ethic” to the end of the world we are experiencing right now.

Happy to the revolutionary mothers/lovers 🌸

“We say that mothering, especially the mothering of children in oppressed groups, and especially mothering to end war, to end capitalism, to end homophobia and to end patriarchy is a queer thing…” 1/

I was a junior in college The New School in April '68 & active in the anti-war movement. Then students occupied Hamilton Hall for a week before cops were called. Last week Columbia University called NYPD in less than 24 hours. SmithCaringCircle Black Women Radicals

Excerpt From my remarks yesterday at Harvard mere hours before NYPD attacked student protestors at CUNY and Columbia:

“based on my decades of study of Audre Lorde and June Jordan I can say confidently that they would be in full support of the students” instagram.com/p/C6bIoOTABLp/…

And NEVER call the police on students, esp students whose bodies are already vulnerable to vicious state action. This is 1st order wisdom from the history of student movements. This places President Shafik on the list of those who should never administrate again.
