My trans visibility gets me threats and hate mail. My visibility as a trans advocate comes at an immense cost to my mental health. I dream of a 🇨🇦 where being yourself and advocating for your community doesn’t mean having a target on your back. #TransDayOfVisibility

Maybe we should obsess less over *whether* tech will replace a human skill and simply focus on taking care of that which is human. If tech starts doing enough human things, maybe we expand the definition of humanity to include that tech. Until then, care about other people.

How is it possible that it’s 2024 and women’s clothing manufacturers still haven’t figured out that removable cutlets are a ridiculous idea in bras and swimsuits?

If you have a few moments to listen to this interview as a parent with your child. Possible one of the best post race interviews I have ever watched #PlayOn

If your politics have brought you to a place where you attack a neurodivergent teen for showing love and affection for his father, you’re really just a crappy person. There’s no other side to that.

As a long-time downtown Toronto cyclist who also owns & drives a car in the city, I think have some insight into what drives some people to rage against bike lanes in the GTA. I honestly feel that root of anti-bike lane sentiment is jealousy. 🧵 #onpoli Prabmeet Sarkaria

Taking some cars off the road however, works very well. This requires better alternatives to driving: Building (& funding!) good quality, reliable public transit. Updating streets to include safe, protected bike lanes. These are tested, globally proven traffic solutions.

And there it is. It was always heading here for her. My previous trans family: I see you, I am an ally, and I have your back. There’s a lot of bigotry and hate out there, and horrific efforts to erase your very existence. But you are a beautiful part of our human rainbow, you
