Congratulations to Darren Milligan after a remarkable 40 years service to the railway. Darren is shortly to retire from his role at Heaton Train Care Centre at our distribution centre here. We all believe he’s certainly earned it - all the very best and thank you Darren! 👏👏👏

Colleagues in our stations and customer experience teams spent their Community Day at St Helens Junction painting fences and cleaning the place up, following earlier works to improve the station environment. Thanks to all the team - what a real difference for our customers! 💙

Thanks to all our teams on another busy and challenging day, especially here on the Harrogate Line where the line was severed due to an earlier incident. Conductor Dave here and the team have done their utmost to keep the railway and our customers on the move. 🙏 💙

We’re investing in stations to make a real difference. At Oxford Road, we are repainting, deep cleaning, improving signage and info displays and more, as well as adding new artwork on the entranceway alongside Network Rail. Customer satisfaction is rising, up +5%pts since 2024.
