🧵A dive in to the importance of Luhansk as a logistics hub for the Russians. I will provide some though on why Luhansk city is a key location for the Russian logistics apparatus with the help of some very high resolution satellite images and a few maps.

I believe in my heart 99 percent of the military has Medal of Honor potential. It’s a matter of the situation. We don’t have .001 percent of the Army that’s capable of achieving the Medal. If they’re presented with the situation, that’s what will happen. realcleardefense.com/articles/2022/…

Big news coming out for the Army, and a big win for the tilt-rotor airframe design, though as mentioned in the thread, Sikorsky will likely not back down from filing a challenge. As usual, with procurement, the future is 'not' now. It's probably not anytime next year, either.

As Gunny used to say: “Once is random, Twice is coincidence, Three times is enemy action” Or in this case, more than ten times is USG malpractice b/c they don’t want to admit what’s going on.

And this is the way the Wagner rebellion ends. Not with a bang, but with a 'malfunctioning' anti-air defense system. A perfect example of why, if you're staging a coup, you better have the balls to see it through. bbc.co.uk/news/world-eur…

When I was 16 & working in the Adirondacks, I stopped by a bookshop in Potsdam for something new to read. I ended up buying this on a whim. That purchase completely changed my view of the world, and eventually, my college & career path. RIP Dr. Kissinger. An era has ended.

“Why most scientists don’t get too excited about UAP phenomena.” I was thinking to write this as an op-ed, but realistically I don’t have time. Here’s the outline for your reading pleasure. ==== 1. Scientists are generally not against the idea of aliens visiting and watching

If they love death more than we love life, then according to Benthamite utilitarianism, airstrikes are not only justified but are required by any serious moral agent as a means of maximizing human happiness

The next phase of the Boeing CEO’s plan is to send them cheesy movies, the worst he can find. The astronauts will be forced to sit and watch them all, while he monitors their minds.

My great granddad (26) had this style home built in 1958 (1800 Sq, .2 acre lot) He was a WWII medic turned RX tech, no college. My granddad (25) bought a similar home in 1972 (2100 Sq) as a boiler operator. Both wives only worked PT. I (28) can't buy this today with 2 FT incomes.

It's always funny to see people on here talking about borders being 'imaginary lines', and then posting a border that's had enough blood shed over it to fill the Kiel canal.
