Josh Gottheimer has a number of conflicts. One egregious & easily verifiable is his in-laws' family lobbying business. His wife is general counsel, his bil Brad Tusk, former Blago associate & Uber legal weasel, is the "founder" (their dad actually was doing this long before).

Tusk: they're expensive, but they help companies "proactively shape regulations". Is Tusk peddling their connection to a sitting congressman who legislates? ... the implication that if you pay enough, Josh Gottheimer will put a thumb on the scale for you is hard to deny.

Good place to begin to staunch the flow -- foreign interference. Cut 'em off from the Russia/Saudi $$$

... that would be Paul Juliano, Frank Delvecchio, and Todd Sherer. Steve Tanelli and Tracy Zur. The main players in North Jersey's Bergen County Dems for years. Little to no scrutiny in the media. Double-dipping, cronyism, intimidation, carelessness, self-dealing all rife.

If your rep endorsed Josh Gottheimer, that's a bad sign. They are likely either cynically exploiting their access to legislation to enrich themselves, or are wilfully uninformed and have poor judgment. Look into who their donors are.

Lakewood once again had the strongest showing in the state for President-elect Trump, where he won 87.7% of the vote. Vice President Harris performed best in Lawnside (90.8%) in Camden County and East Orange (90.2%).

Change the culture to make cheating un-funny. Get rid of the "corruption tax". Make elected people accountable to the people who voted for them, instead of the party bosses.

Gottheimer doubles down publicly on fealty to his backroom owner/political godfather, Paul Juliano, North Jersey's political Democrat machine capo. Loyalty and tractability are paramount in this insider culture.
