I think what’s often slept on in FM is that we are constantly asking: how does this evidence apply to peds populations is this med safe in lactation and pregnancy how can the study be applied to my underserved pt population You practice differently if you’re trained broadly.

I started low dose T two months ago. It’s been weird and wonderful, and I also feel so privileged. Everyone should have access to gender affirming meds and freedom to explore their gender. Plus this velvet suit brought me gender euphoria. #TransDayOfVisibility 😊🏳️‍⚧️

This is my dear friend, Nakita. Nakita and I were medical school classmates and both interns in New York City. Nakita tragically took her own life on May 26. She is such a beautiful soul. She was so fun to be around. She was intelligent, charismatic, and confident. (1/x)
