In a male-centric society, what men desire is a constant. It's in advertising, music, books, tv/movies, & the conversations they dominate in every room. We never don't hear about men's desires & they hold the power to ensure only their desires are centered & given a voice.

And what women desire? That too is told by men & is often just what men desire in men, using women as their avatars to validate what they tell each other & insist to women to both justify what they do to us & blame us for what they can't measure up to. Hence so much rape culture.
