At the end of last semester, I surveyed my students on their favorite readings in my US legal history class. Favorite reading was the Brianna Nofil article on NY Chinese jails! Runners-up were readings by Talitha LeFlouria and Michael Willrich. Thanks to these and all my assigned authors!

what on earth is happening at Rutgers University & why is anti-union president Jonathan Holloway apparently removing our chancellor at Rutgers-Newark?????!?!

Pres. Holloway's non-renewal of Chancellor Cantor's contract is galling on every level. She is an effective leader committed to the values of Rutgers and Newark. And, this is another example of the disdain for our campus's rejection of austerity and calls for meaningful equity.

I'm disgusted by the ousting of Newark Chancellor Nancy Cantor by Rutgers President Holloway. Cantor has a vision for our campus that centers the humanities and public engagement. Holloway threatened adjuncts and grad students with arrest to scare them from striking. Says it all.
