If Wales would be “extremely poor” what does it say about the Union which has neglected our needs? It’s difficult to comprehend how the leader of a nation can have such little confidence in it.

The Union doesn't work for Wales. We are poorer *because*, not in spite of it. It's all there in the questions and the paucity of answers - countries that used to be substantially poorer have long since overtaken us, and our First Minister has no idea what to do about it.
