Congratulations to Joey, who came 2nd place in the Welsh Fell Running Association Sugar Loaf race, last weekend. It was a brutal run, 3 miles with 1000ft climb, straight up to the top of the Sugar Loaf and back down, and he did it in 31 minutes.

Year 7 trying their hand at a new sport called Boccia in this half term’s theme of Diversity and Values where we explore different disability sports. It involves having good hand eye co-ordination and the right amount of power, speed and balance. Great effort from all! Da iawn!

Year 9 girls working collaboratively in groups on the skill of bowling in cricket. Numeracy was involved in counting the runs and deducting 5 points if they were caught or stumped out. It was lovely to see great peer assessment and community spirit. Bendigedig merched!

Congratulations to one of our Year 7 pupils and her dance troupe "Kryptonite“, who danced in front of a capacity crowd in the Principality Stadium. A huge achievement and fantastic opportunity for all involved.

Year 7 working hard to improve their technique on the long jump in athletics. Not the summer weather we would have hoped for the first week of the final summer term so we did lots of drills inside to improve the 4 phases of the approach, take off, flight and landing.
