Apple’s attitude to AI over the past few years resembles Microsoft’s attitude to the Internet in the early 2000s: an arrogant company that thinks it’s winning, becomes complacent, and neglects the next wave of technological advancement. Microsoft lost a decade with its blunder.

Vegas is an awesome city. I don’t gamble -zero interest- but love to visit with my fam. It offers so much more than gambling: top-notch restaurants, great shows, world-class shopping, kid activities, great resorts & pools, golfing, & my favorite: machine-gun shooting ranges.

Our society is utterly unprepared for the AI / robotics / autonomy revolution that has already started. The political consequences will be dire: expect Luddite, populist, charlatan politicians winning the votes of millions of jobless & angry workers. apple.news/ACJC0dmTzS3-lm…

Our country’s unsustainable deficit has turned the US Treasuries into a Ponzi scheme, which is now entering its last phase with the legitimization of Stablecoins. Stablecoins will prop the Treasuries just as institutional investors start dumping them. apple.news/AHApk-jtPSYu-Y…

Next time I teach my securities class, I plan to not just allow ChatGPT (or similar AI), but require it. Lawyers use ChatGPT; why shouldn’t law students? School is supposed to prep them for their careers. We should encourage them to do so & teach them how to do it responsibly.
