I've just passed 70,000 words. At 72,000 words, which I'll reach tomorrow, I'll be 4/5 of the way through this book. It's one in the morning, so I'm off to bed. But I will have finished a full-length novel in 55 days of writing. Maybe less. Good night!

I have passed 72,000 words! I am 80% through my novel! Now taking a break. This banana bread is part of the celebration. Yankee troops are occupying the MCs’ house. There will be blood soon, and fire. It’s going well!

Today I’ve done very little. Tidied my room, mostly. Took a break from writing. Then went for a walk in the bush. There’s a river running through that.

Up and writing. My next target is 75,000 words. Probably won't reach it until Tuesday. US troops are occupying the MCs' farm, & are planning to take the cattle over to Detroit, and burn down all the buildings. The MCs escape alive, but lose more or less everything but the land.
