Our white coat ceremony and class photo were last week. Impressed by how Carver College of Medicine adapted these traditions to allow for social distancing and PPE! This class photo is one for the books!!

Had a discussion with a peer last night about using person-first language with regards to discussing homelessness, e.g. “people who are homeless”, rather than “the homeless”, “the homeless person”. Encouraging to see that First-Aid training language is changing this year!!
