I’ll never forget what these two books, Weep Not, Child & A Grain of Wheat, did to me. Ngugi wa Thiong’o was one of the finest novelists of the African continent. His book, Decolonizing the Mind finished the work of decolonization & helped us restart the pursuit of it. Adieu Papa
