Hip Hop is so jaded they praise the mediocrity and hate the great. If you take a break off the sugar coated poison music and clear your palette and cravings. You may be able to have better taste.

Always come from a spirit of service (ie: being able to help people, entertain people, make others' lives better or easier), and you'll never starve. Just start assisting people where you see the need. Or help remove someone's pain in all the ways you can; it comes back 10X.

Nothing gets me out of a funk better than deep focused work, rough sex, and/or waking up to direct deposits and royalty payments hitting the accounts.

Even the toughest, mentally strong, beautiful souls have bad days, get discouraged, or need a day to hunker down and go within. When you have these kinds of days, stay off social media apps and go outside. Go for a walk, touch trees, and plant your bare feet in soil or sand.

The 2 types of people you have to disassociate with are those who are unteachable, thus unreachable. And those who are irrationally stupid. Dumb by choice. Because certain levels of ignorance will get you killed, hemmed up, constantly losing money, and/or persistently down bad.

If you have to beg for attention, time, or affection, that's not where you belong. That's not your person. That is not your place. You never have to beg for what's yours.

Don't regret having a good heart, all good things come back and multiply.

The thing is, opportunities never show up looking like an opportunity. They always feel like massive change, hard work, inner work, heartbreak, or the death of something that has outlived its expiration date. You won’t know it’s an opportunity until much later.

Once you pray to have more, be more, and do more, don't be surprised when nearly everything and everyone around you that is toxic or low vibrational starts to disgust you. Being around certain people and activities will disgust you. Certain spaces will begin to sicken you.

You are not an island. Men need women. Women need men. Men need other men. Women need other women. Children need us both. We are better together. As long as we're divided, we all lose.
