“Automation risk tends to disproportionately impact workers who are already marginalized and face challenges. These pre-existing barriers can make it challenging for workers to participate in re-training programs.” - Sarah Doyle #BNW2019

Congratulations The Fields Institute, NRC Canada and @KirstyDuncanMP for today’s exciting announcement.

I'm a bit late on this, but a huge congratulations to Pedro Barata on his new role! It's an inspired choice by Future Skills Centre - he's a smart and strategic changemaker and I'm excited to see where he takes the centre.

A huge thank you to FedDev Ontario for their investment in Palette! We're so excited to announce our expansion beyond the GTA to focus on helping workers and companies across Ontario. We'll have lots more to say about our plans over the coming weeks and months.... #StayTuned

We wouldn't be among this impressive group without the tireless hard work and dedication of our amazing team at Palette Skills. Their commitment to our work and focus on making sure every dollar we raise translates to impact for workers and companies never ceases to amaze me.

And we’re off! Our next crew of SalesCampers hard at work. If you’re looking for sales talent you’ve come to the right place. Palette Skills

Thanks for the wonderful opportunity Universities Canada | Universités Canada! It was a privilege to be part of such a great panel on industry collaboration #cdnpse #futureofwork

I can’t believe it’s been over a year since we launched our pilot at Palette Skills. We’ve learned a lot and tried to capture the lessons as best we could. Check out our new report “Emerging Stronger” and thanks to Public Policy Forum for the opportunity to publish this!

Thanks Mayor Mayor Drew Dilkens!

Super excited to announce our new partnership with University of Toronto. Palette is excited to be able to tap into the education and research community and share our best practices on upskilling in the post-secondary space. Lots more to come on this so stay tuned! paletteskills.org/palette-new-pa…

Great touch base with Palette Skills this morning, our conversation centred around inclusive growth and the changing nature of work. I reaffirmed my commitment to working with partners to help Canadians get the skills they need to adapt to a changing labour market.

Jobs programs only work when people can actually go to work. Better childcare is vital to ensuring talented and highly skilled parents can get back to work and help Canada rebuild and recover. Congratulations to Chrystia Freeland for this critical investment.
