NEW: Police Scotland issues figures on hate reports received 1-7th April since legislation came into force.

There were 7152 online hate reports - with 240 hate crimes and 30 non-crime hate incidents recorded. The force says the vast majority of reports were anonymous.

The EBU issues a statement after calls for performers including Olly Alexander to boycott this year’s competition. It says decisions made are the responsibility of the union’s governing bodies, not individual artists.

I really don’t get it.
