Got a hotel voucher for my imminent trip to Hong Kong - says ‘guest requests room on higher floor’ no she bloody doesn’t, sleeping in a high rise hotel doesn’t happen for me 😞

Absolutely exhausted after a work week in Hong Kong, but I had fun too 😊

Going to Lake District on Monday - which is the only day the forecast say will be dry 😃

On holiday and going to have to find a sports therapist to release my piriformis. Long flights and car journeys are not fun 😑

Just spent 3 hours reviewing a grant filling in the endless sections. Pressed save, it dissapeared. Fuck!

Finally got round to looking at grant reviews I agreed to do. Only got close to 1000 pages to review. OOF.

Just horrible to see that plane go down and just thoughts to all the families :-( I hope that they find a reason for this but it wont help those lost.

This time next month I should be in Toronto. Only if I get my act together and book flights and hotel 😝

Just booked to go away with sis and family for a long weekend, this makes me happy 😊

Husband currently tag teaming with his brother to look after their mum who cannot be alone right now due to medical problems. They are both 200+ miles away so it’s complicated. He’s home for 2 days tomorrow and I’m so pleased!

Just watched the 7/7 doc on Netflix - gosh really hard. Sad for all those lives lost and changed including the innocent man that I now see wasn’t even running away, just awful.

Just watched Jimmy McGovern Unforgiven, I have thoughts. I can’t say them here but in floods 🫤
