Mayor Adams is expected to veto a bill that would force Instacart to pay their workers a minimum wage even as new information comes to light revealing that the $13-billion tech company has been bragging about boosting profits by "squeezing" workers.

Three bills (part of same pkg as min. wage expansion) that would make delivery apps put a tip option at checkout of at least 10% and give a clear breakdown of payment have been "returned unsigned by Mayor," meaning they will become law.
