I'll be voting Yes-No next week. I'm concerned that a Yes vote on Care would allow the State to only have to meet the standard of "sure we're doing our best" in providing disability services. Experience tells us more protections are needed. #VoteYesNo

The lack of insight is shocking

While we're talking about human rights for disabled people, a reminder that children wait years to access disability teams, and that access to specialist paediatric rehabilitation is highly inconsistent. "Striving" is insufficient- statutory protection of the right to care NOW.
