One step at a time! We won a request for recount claiming irregularities and fraud. I know this decision will be appealed yet, grateful for the small victories and the hope it has inspired in other female candidates. ORWOCH #legalaid #whrd #feministlawyer

Another successful night of LINGO networking and celebrating the legacy of The Liberian INGO forum since 1997. I’m so grateful to have served as the chair for the past 2 years representing over 53 INGOs in Liberia!

The idea of the campaign is simple: dress in black on Thursdays. This gesture reminds us all of our responsibility to speak out against sexual and gender-based violence and to ensure that all people, regardless of their gender, are safe from violence.

Five years ago speaking about #FGM in Liberia was not possible, but through the advocacy of our partners, WPWHDO, Women NGOs Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL) and the womens’ movement we can take concrete steps to legally end this practice in a sustainable manner.

Today ORWOCH released a final report on the findings of the Project Accountability Safe Space from the 2023 elections. This provided a safe space for women candidates to discuss the lessons learned to increase future female political participation in Liberia

So grateful to spend International Women’s Day in Bong County. Since 2017, The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has partnered with the Rural Women and Girls Foundation to support women’s economic empowerment, prevent GBV, and WPP at the community level.
