Don’t hold your breath too long pretending to care about unity, equality, and justice, the silence on Tamil issues is already doing enough damage. Brain death might just catch up with the moral one.

Elon and Trump breaking up was inevitable since day one. It was never about why, just a ticking clock on when two oversized egos would finally run out of room in the same spotlight.

Skeletons are being dug up from the Ariyalai Siththupaaththi Hindu Crematorium, a place meant for cremation, not burial. This alone should raise alarm. But down South? Radio silence. No outrage. No interest. Just business as usual.

You choosing to 'move on' because you’ve found comfort or convenience doesn’t invalidate others’ right to seek truth and justice. Rice and pol sambol may be enough for you. But don't ask others to swallow their pain and forget history just to maintain your comfort.

Sentenced on e 2nd. Pardoned on e 12th. Our President, in between ‘changing e country’, somehow squeezed in enough time to process a pardon in 9 days. The efficiency! Meanwhile, a Gazette hurting an entire community? Still collecting dust on a minister’s desk. Priorities, no?

An error is sending home e wrong person with e same name. But sending someone whose name isn’t even on e list? That’s not an error. Then again, we live in a country where a minister who admitted to threatening prisoners at gunpoint walks free. So really… anything is possible.

I'm curious—has Athula Thilakaratne been taken back into custody? If not, is he still around, or has he gone off the radar like Ishara Sewwandi? Sewwandi has been evading arrest for 104 days.

Exploratory excavation of the human burial pit at Chemmani Siddhupathi Hindu Cemetery was completed yesterday (7). A total of 19 complete human skeletal remains have been identified & recovered so far. National media are yet to find this issue newsworthy—hopefully, they will.

Chemmani is a crematorium, not a burial site—which means the skeletons found there do not belong. It must be thoroughly investigated. The Government of Sri Lanka has a responsibility to: - preserve and protect the site; - fund the excavation; and - ensure there is no foul play.

Will OMP Sri Lanka be issuing a statement regarding e exploratory excavation of e human burial pit at e Chemmani Siddhupathi Hindu Cemetery? This falls under your mandate, doesn’t it? Surely, this warrants more urgency than file management training programmes—don’t you think?
