🌲 AINATURE Project puts AI systems in the service of effective management of natural disasters. ✅ Τhe AINATURE project approved and implemented in the framework of the Interreg IPA ADRION program, officially started with the kick-off meeting taking place on 21-22/10.

Supporting a greener & climate resilient ADRION region, Zadar Country was selected as one of the Pilot cases Areas. AINATURE focused on the early detection of forest fires in Zadar, aims to develop a joint action plan and sustainable strategies to enhance fire prevention.

In light of AINATURE project, the Region of Central Greece proposes a specific, well-defined pilot area within the Spercheios River Basin.This region is located within the hydrological unit EL0702 and overlaps with Natura 2000 site GR2440002 in its eastern part. #AINATURE #NATURE

Excited to share highlights from the third PSC/Plenary meeting of AINATURE, hosted by UNIVPM & AMAP in Ancona, Italy on October 7-8, 2025. It was an excellent opportunity to visit the pilot area, where we gained direct insight into the innovative sensors installed by AMAP.
