Looks like Yale school of public health has finally started to say what I have been repeatedly saying since 2020 1) covid creates longlasting autoimmunity by harming t regs 2) harms adaptive immunity 3) causes immune dysregulation 4) persists etc

COVID’S EFFECT ON THE IMMUNE SYSTEM šŸ”„ This is an excellent series of graphics from Yale School of Public Health explaining what we do (and don’t) know about Covid’s effect on the immune system. Much of this is informed by the work of Dr. Akiko Iwasaki (Prof. Akiko Iwasaki). 🧵 H/t AJ Leonardi, MBBS, PhD

Three years after your initial covid infection, there were still *new* symptoms starting, mostly neurological or GI related. 'That mini stroke that you are having now could be related to that covid infection you had three years ago.' TY Ziyad Al-Aly, MD

A research proposal is your project's blueprint. But it's more than just simple paperwork. Your research proposal is more than a formality. It sets the stage, aligns your ideas, and gets you moving with confidence.

Just having this discussion with others who say they don’t remember the first 6/12 of COVID. Workforce are sitting on a raft of unprocessed grief and trauma. First move should be to ensure basic needs are met but we haven’t even got that far.
