Following up on last week's "Health Check", I returned to ceate Risk Assessments and to compile a bespoke training record card capturing all the key risks at this site. The Client feels there is great traction and the chef is learning as I build their processes.

Food safety processes updated, allergen processes reviewed, health and safety policy issued, risk assessments completed, COSHH data sheets printed with COSHH assessments and manual handling assessments done. Back for one further day in August to deliver group training

Well it's official, I just submitted my confirmation statement to Companies House, which means Cantium Catering Consultancy Ltd is 12 months old! . I have had such a great 12 months, Excitrd to see what the next 12 months brings.

Today was a bit of a twist on the cookery club. A class of 30 children wanting to prepare meals for the homeless at a school in East Kent. How could I resist...... So I volunteered my time. The children produced lentil and chick pea Dahl with basmari rice and homemade samosas.

Very pleased to have passed both the exam and practical for my NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

Fantastic couple of days delivering training to the team. We covered off #COSHH, #allergens, #foodsafety #manualhandling #healthandsafety , #firesafety and so much more. Really positive refresher as well as fantastic for those that hadn't been trained til now.

I am very pleased to have been accepted for Senior Associate membership of Foodservice Consultants Society International. Their ethical code of practice is very much in alignment with the values I set up cantium with.

Great news to share today! We are delighted to welcome Aidan Ross Cantium Catering Consultancy Ltd to the FCSI UK&I branch. He brings with him a wealth of expertise and lots of energy to support and connect with other consultants.

I uploaded my 180 point audit today to I.Auditor. Wow what a difference so much quicker and has the versatility to add media to the audit. Looking forward to doing this in a number sites over the next few months.

As part of this award we also work with the children to grow their own food from the allotment and teach the children how to cook. We are very proud of this achievement, well done to all the kitchen team.
