Good morning from sunny Karlskrona, Sweden. where the opening session of the AI-ARC Baltic Demo is taking place. We had some welcoming words from the Deputy Director General for the Swedish Coast Guard , Anders Kjaersgaard, and then Isto Mattila presented the project.

Excellent presentations today at the AI-ARC Baltic Demo, including a talk on the use case of smuggling and from Johanna Karvonen, Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu on the next steps for AI-ARC. Also pictured is a group of demo participants using the Virtual Control room tool for the first time!

We had a group of some 50 persons attending the AI-ARC Baltic demo, incl. project personnel, representatives from Frontex, EFCA, Swedish Police Authority, Swedish Military and coast guard. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon at the Arctic Demo in Reykjavik next month.

The final planning meeting for the AI-ARC Arctic demo final planning meeting is taking place at Icelandic Coast Guard hanger, Reykjavik today So far we have heard presentations on Blue Force Tracking technology by Athenor and the Data Fusion Services by and Xenia Beltran of UPM

AI-ARC ARCTIC DEMO PLANNING DAY University of Portsmouth presented on Risk Computation Services. Fraunhofer IOSB presented the DBN anomaly detection system. Telespazio presented the iceberg detection services using satellite data.

Final preparations are taking place today for the AI-ARC ARCTIC SAR DEMO which will take place tomorrow in Reykjavik. Demo participants began the day with a tour aboard the ICG vessel THOR.

The AI-ARC ARCTIC SAR DEMO is underway in Reykjavik. This morning there was a presentation of the AI-ARC suite of services on the bridge of Thor.

AI-ARC ARCTIC SAR DEMO MAYDAY: Fishing Vessel Pandora has hit an Iceberg in the Denmark straight and is taking on water. A liferaft has been launched, with two people on board and a rescue operation is underway.
