One of the things I'm going to miss at CFISD. Talented students journalists do a lot of the heavy lifting when it comes to showcasing the best across the district. Support local journalism. Great job . πŸŽ‰

The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD staff sent Dr. Mark Henry out in style for his retirement with a clap-out Thursday in the building that bears his name. Lots of cheers and happy tears to celebrate the superintendent on his 42 years in education and 12-plus here in CFISD. πŸŽ‰

Super proud to watch our youngest graduate from Stephen F. Austin on Saturday. 1st in her family to earn a college degree.

I remember telling her as a senior in 2020 how she could be the one to change the direction of her family. Jaelyn, you raised the standard. πŸŽ‰

Work ID is less white and more yellow after 6+ years but I'll only need it 1 more week. My time at CFISD will come to an end this month.

Very thankful for the opportunity to transition from newspapers into school PR and continue being a storyteller.

Next chapter coming soon...
