Congratulations to the AGSB Head Master English Speaking Union team who defeated over 350 schools to reach the finals which were held at Churchill College, Cambridge.
Although they just missed out on the title, Tosin, Leo and Yuvan should be extremely proud of their achievements.

The annual AGSB Head Master Oxbridge Evening took place last night. 300 were in attendance including students from AGSB, Loretto, Urmston GS, Lymm High, Knutsford Academy & Ashton on Mersey. Many thanks to our presenters Peter Claus (Oxford) & Mr Richard Partington (Cambridge).

Yesterday we held the AGSB Head Master 'Futures Fair' which had over 600 students meeting a wide variety of Universities, Businesses, and Apprenticeship providers. Many thanks to Mr Gallamore (Head of Careers), Dr Thomas (Assistant Head) and all the exhibitors who attended.

Today we held the 'return leg' of the AGSB Head Master v Altrincham Grammar School for Girls inter-school Debate. The motion was: 'This House would abolish the House of Lords'. After a fantastic debate with fine performances from both teams, AGSB were declared winners. Well done to both teams! 👋👋👋

Year 7 and 8 attended a great talk and creative writing session with the author Steven Camden today. Camden, a novelist; spoken word poet and drama script writer, demonstrated his own writing process with the help of suggestions from the year group.

LAMDA Exam Success! In March, 50 students in Yr 8-10 sat their first ever LAMDA exams. It was a busy day and the boys showcased their determination and teamwork, many sitting the Duologue exam in pairs. An astounding 96% of boys achieved the highest possible grade - a Distinction
