Interested in comments from those with boss bars running tines who have successfully got them to interrow sow on 30cm. If using implement guidance which ones and how successful? My exp is they like to return to old row very quickly 🤔

Weeds have evolved for a long time to handle poorer nutrition situations as opposed to our current breeding lines that thrive on synthetic Fertilizers. Thunders really growing away from hallmarks (left) so far this year. Vegetative frost tolerance in heavy stubble seems pretty important aesthetically anyway 👍.

I’ve been watching salt patches get progressively worse since 2010, even after a run of pretty dry yrs. I’ll bet the 1st pic will look like the 2nd pic next year. Apart from crop tolerance there’s not a lot I’ve found we can do 🤔 Rohan Brill

Reminder of Phosphorous responses on high p soils in a dry late start. P is so important in low rainfall acid soils! Canola stubble and fallow always most responsive.

Emu TF is a good week ahead of any other commercial variety in our trials this yr! Surprised me as in other yrs varieties like diamond, velocity etc are ahead of it. Been very dry, it’s obviously thinking finish line is closer than normal 🥹

Spent this arvo searching for and validating some options for improving and ameliorating salt leached areas on a clients farm. Used a great twitter (x) feed earlier for some ideas. Have added soil, crop types, seed dressing and granules as well as salt pastures. #aggrowagronomy

Everyone seen what NSW gov is up to? All the yellow is changing to Category 2-regulated land. Check your farm. I have areas that are open clear pdk that it has coloured yellow. App called ‘check my land’. Or do nothing and whinge when u can’t farm. nsw.gov.au/have-your-say/…

We’ve been seeing stripe rust for a few weeks now but only very isolated. Looks to be a later developing year so far. Interested to hear if anyone else is seeing any in their travels. Scepter no fert or foliar fungicide in this pic Steven Simpfendorfer

Canola trials really starting to pump now after an inch last week 👍👌 #aggrowagronomy Still only 135mm ytd! We will need a spring to finish these imo. We have trials collaborating with most canola companies this yr 👍
