The European Union in Kenya, KALRO, and sub-grantee partners have launched the sub-grants, and the technology field day. The success of this sub- granting model will inform the future approach to technology dissemination and the funding model of the European Union. European Commission

In 2020, Kamale Dairy Goat Self Help Group in Kitui upscaled green gram value chain through support from ADS Eastern under EU funded AgriFI CS APP With time, the group which started in 2005,has diversified its activities including table banking & crops production. #WorldFoodDay
Farmers to benefit from the 4 new cashew varieties developed by KALRO through AgriFI CS APP. Varieties launched today include KKorosho 81,KKorosho 82, KKorosho 100 & KKorosho 75. The varieties are high yielding & early maturing compared to conventional varieties which took 5 yrs.
Today we officially commissioned the KALRO Poultry Breeding and Multiplication House at the Non-ruminant Research Institute in Kakamega and also released the Improved KALRO Chicken KC3 breed line AgriFI CS APP
The new 2000 bird capacity breeding and multiplication house was constructed through joint funding from the European Union and Government of Kenya through the AgriFI CS APP Project
